I sell translators and translating hardware/software and want to make an ad on Spanish TV for my products. Does anybody know, other than the regular time slots, what the best ones would be in the Hispanic community?

Prime time TV is the best, but it’ll cost you an arm and a leg. Start out at a lesser time slot if you can’t afford prime time.

when playing bingo at the recreation center the announcer calls out numbers and everyone starts marking their cards. so do most people play 3 cards per person to stay at the same pace with the announcer calling the numbers? how many cards would you and people around you normally play? whats the maximum number of cards people play to increase their chances of getting bingo?

I prefer to play 3 cards. But, it’s not uncommon to see people with 9, 12 or even more. It’s funny to watch them fly through the cards with that dobber. I figure winning bingo is a lot like the lottery. Yeah, you can buy tons of cards and increase your chances. But, if you’re lucky … you can win with just one.

What is the best poker advice you have for me?
posted by: admin in poker on 11 30th, 2009 | | 4 Comments »

I am planning on starting an online poker account with $50-$100 playing mainly Omaha and NLH. I was wondering what good advice you guys had and any references before I get started.

There are sites that will give you free money usually $50 to play with. http://www.pokerstrategy.com/uIVQI3 is such a site they provide strategy articles, videos and live coaching sessions. It is free to join and they also provide a free $50 to start providing you can pass their poker quiz. If you are serious about getting good then this is an ideal place to start. They also offer rakeback as well. Their coaches are big winners in the online games.

however they do not accept US players you can try http://www.freepokercash.org for more free cash providers that do accept US players.

If you still want to deposit your own money then get rakeback, it’s basically poker cashback on your play you can also get access to freerolls, try http://www.onlinerakeback.net

I play mostly online on full tilt and I do very well but id like to get some poker books to read while i play to maybe better my game. I have Daniel Negreanu’s Hold’em Wisdom book and was a very good book and helped my game a lot. Any others you suggest?

I got about 6000 play money and im wondering how i can get FPPs and how i can get real money with that

You cannot trade in your play chips to Pokerstars for real money. If you could, nobody would ever make deposits.

You cannot earn FPP points at the play money tables, only real money tables. You get 5 points for every $1 in tournament fees paid, or 1 point for ever 60 cents (I think) in rake taken from ring games.

The only ways to get real money to play with are by making a deposit or winning a freeroll tournament that awards real money.

What casino in Reno has the best comp program?
posted by: admin in casino on 11 30th, 2009 | | 3 Comments »

What Reno, NV area casino has the best comp program? I have played well over $3000 in time at the Legacy and have yet to even receive a free night. I am starting to feel a little jipped. Any suggestions? Thanks.
If it makes any difference, I generally play video poker and video blackjack.

I have trouble believing that you have gambled that much and not received any comps, unless you aren’t tracking your play. Granted, Silver Legacy doesn’t have the most liberal program, but they should at least give you a free buffet for that play. Try the Nugget or the Atlantis-they are very generous with comps.

Slots, is There a Strategy

I’d have to agree but also acknowledge the money management strategy that at least lends itself to the odds, i.e. .40 bet from a $50 bankroll gives a minimum of 125 wagers on the worst of days and that is right around how often features show up on average. So, it seems to follow that if the bankroll increases, so can the size of the wager. Another line of thinking is to return to original bet size after any decent win, feature etc. which works sometimes as well. I think Simmo and KK were the first to advocate that, first i read anyway. I used to increase my bets when ahead, but I like to increase my variance as well now… if I’m at the 2 or $3 level I don’t bet all lines.. I might wager $1 on each of three lines, or .50 on six lines, whatever. Of course it decreases my chances, but the rewards are greater when they come. I just randomly do this, not for a series of spins… if I’m at 109 I might spin a couple of 4.50’s or a nine dollar spin then go back to what I was doing, no method to the madness, just random stuff.
Just have to develop a ‘blind eye’ to those lines  There can be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster when you get free spins… but all it takes is 3 or more high tier symols to make it worthwhile. The other bonus features don’t matter as they are usually based on bet size.

If you want to try it, just use coin ‘danglers’ at first… if you are betting .20 on an rtg, for instance, and your balance ends in .90 just bet nine lines at a dime each… or seven at a nickle if it ends in .35… you get the pitcha. What really sux is betting only 8c or something and getting free spins so I usually just do the bigger bets at high variance now. That’s why they have the line numbers alongside the reels, so you can manipulate the machine, as simple as clicking the number five, then ramping up the bet per line to $5 each for the last spin of the day, or whenever.
I’ve been playing slots at land based as well as online casinos for a number of years now. I’m more convinced now than ever before that there is no honest foolproof strategy guaranteeing regular wins. Even the low paying (3 reel) jackpot slots like the Blazing 7’s are as hard to read as the more complex video slots.
Yes, you’ll win less often, but the wins will be greater. That’s why I only do it a small percentage of the time. Over time, it would be exactly the same on a fair slot.
It’s been shown that older nine line Microgaming slots are weighted, so it’s imperative to bet all lines on them… but anything after thunderstruck, and all RTG’s are good to go.
A good intro game might be cashapillar.. if you can ever get the hang of where the numbers are in that mess of 100! And it is definitely a game you’d kick yourself over only betting 20 lines if the screen flooded with wilds  and the max bet is .02 iirc, so not such a good game unless you just want to play it and can’t afford a buck or two per spin.

I can’t bring myself to do it often on Tut @ 3D, nor Supersuits (as it’s already high variance and only 15 lines max) but Fortune Falls is good because it is lower variance and there are 25 lines.

Not to seem contradictory, but on the other extreme Scary Rich is a good one to bet 5 lines at a dime each.. that gambit has paid $50 more than once  The alltime best are golden glove and fruit frenzy.. w/GG it doesn’t matter how many lines you had bet as the H-I-T’s collect on any line during the free spins. And on FF, you can be betting one line, get 5oak, and the free spins will happen with all 25 lines (of course the free spins come 1:25 of the time on average but we’re looking for anomalies with this variation, not a system
On that 3 line victory win for 100, I could have just as well bet one line… the most ‘painful’ are betting four lines at a buck and hitting high tier symbols on line five! It’s right in your face that way and hard to turn a ‘blind eye’.

Your mileage will vary, but I’ve found that with the right luck, it’s a good way to go. Mainly, for me, I would shoot myself or pull my ears off if I just sat there and did .20 spins waiting for the eventual demise of my bankroll… I have to throw in a higher wager at higher variance now and then to remain sane enough to stare at the money-suckin-purdy-picture machine.

Understanding The Features Of A Bingo Site
posted by: admin in bingo on 11 29th, 2009 | | No Comments »

Bingo is today registered under the Bingo Act of 1996 and declared a recreational activity. You can play this game online today, thanks to the Internet, which further enhances its reach and popularity not only in USA and Europe but also all over the world. This takes our attention to the quality of the Bingo online sites. In order to make the best of it, you would need to understand the features offered and know how to use them.

If you were one among the people who have newly been bitten by the Bingo Club, you would need to know the following few facts about the best features of the online Bingo sites.

1. Games hosted

(i)The first thing you should worry about is the quality of the game(s) hosted on the online site. Hence, check out what other games, besides Bingo it offers. Many sites would automatically sign you as a member in their casino sister concerns, which is just as good if you like to gamble once in a while. You will have a good variety of Bingo and non-Bingo games
(ii)The cost of the cards should not usually exceed USD $0.5. The average cost would stay within $0.25 per card. Special cards may cost higher.
(iii) The games would have weekly/monthly tournaments with high winning prizes
(iv) There would be bonus offers and credits from time to time as promotionals

2. Excellent promotionals

(i) Anything between 10-25 percent bonus on the initial monetary deposit as bonus
(ii) Bonus of cash or percentage (of the amount deposited by the introduced person) for every person referred to the site

3. Winning & Prizes

(i) Hourly/daily progressive prizes/jackpots that make the game exceptionally exciting
(ii) Weekly/monthly tournaments with excellent pay offs
(iii) Winning chat games, which could be as exciting as any game of Bingo

4. Technical software, chat and discussions forums

(i)A good site would have excellent help on the site including the best software to make the game as smooth as can be
(ii)Auto-daub, catch-up and auto-play features
(iii) Changing colors of the cards when you are approaching Bingo
(iv)Variety of fonts, color and sounds to make your chatting a great experience
(v)Ample choices of chat rooms
(vi)Zoom in and out features
(vii)Software that allows multiple games played simultaneously
(viii)Inclusion of smileys in the chat messages
(ix)Fast loading chat windows
(x)Excellent hosting of discussion forums

This is in short the most popular features that you would encounter in a typical good Bingo online site. Depending on each individual site, they might be having some features added or less that what is described above. However, you will notice that the leaders in the game would always keep themselves a good step or two ahead on the technology and the offers aspect, ensuring that they always offer the best there is available at any particular time.

The graphics, the navigation, the games everything would be smooth and user friendly making the experience of the player addictive.
