what damages can be charged to a bingo game owner if an innocent child was killed due to electrocution through electric trap set by the owner to protect his goods from thieves. Up to what extent can this/these damages can be filed to court?
I would go as far as Capital Murder as you knew your "trap" had the potential of killing thereby you taking the road of planning on the homicide. Probably depends of what state you are in and what the specifics in the law are. Also, this is only the criminal aspect. You would certainly loose everything you and your family have on the civil side.

A charge of criminal negligence will be the highest probability. It was not safe nor advertised.

Setting a lethal trap is illegal in most states. The owner of the bingo game could be charged with premeditated murder.
The plaintiffs (the dead child’s family) in a civil suit against the trap setter would probably win thousands of dollars.
Why would a game owner set a trap like that … when a good set of security cameras are just as effective and much more cost efficient?
